Stainless Steel Grinding

Stainless Steel is a steel alloy with a minimum of 10.5% to 11% chromium by mass. It does not readily corrode, rust or stain as ordinary steel does. The fact that ground elements are more easily cleared out of the grinding process makes it ideal for grinding precision parts. Let us quote your next stainless steel wire grinding project.

Modern Grinding works with medical grade steels. Typically we grind stainless steel 304V and stainless steel 316LVM for medical devices. If you have a different stainless steel material that you need don't hesitate to reach out.

The majority of stainless steel wire components that we make are for the cardiovascular and orthopedic industries. We are able to make micro stainless steel coils for guidewires and sharp stainless steel wires for orthopedic procedures. We are able to form stainless steel wires that are as small as .0008" in diameter up to .15".
